The calculation can be performed both for the entire perimeter and for each individual side. To do this, you need to specify the length of only the calculated side. The depth of the hole will be calculated automatically, depending on the height of the fence. Since the metal sheet has a high "windage" in contrast to the picket fence and mesh fences, their fastening must be carried out especially carefully to counteract wind loads. It is also desirable to use roofing screws for fastening, with a special rubber spacer, to prevent the appearance of rust in the attachment points.
In strongly heaving soils, such as clay, it is recommended to mount the posts by the method of backfilling, in order to avoid squeezing the concrete base out of the soil, or to increase the depth of installation of the posts below the depth of freezing of the soil.
